To determine roles by which infiltrating pulmonary intersitial macrophages regulate development and progression of pulmonary vascular remodeling and pulmonary hypertension. Overall design: RNA sequencing (RNAseq) of non-classical monocytes and IMØ purified from the lungs of Cx3cr1cre;Hif1a?/? and control Hif1aflox/flox mice after 3 weeks of exposure to hypoxia plus SU5416 (Fig 5A).
