Environmental enrichment increases transcriptional and epigenetic differentiation between mouse dorsal and ventral dentate gyrus neurons

We examined molecular genetic differences between the dorsal and ventral dentate gyrus of the hippocampus in mouse, using RNA-seq to assess differences in gene expression, as well as MethylC-seq and TAB-seq to assess differences in DNA methylation and hydroxymethylation, respectively.
