Cross-host Streptococcus agalactiae vaccine-antigen conservation screen: curated antigen references, 526-genome metadata, DIAMOND pipeline, and per-genome results
收藏资源简介:
Reproducibility deposit for the review "One vaccine, three hosts? A critical assessment of cross-host Streptococcus agalactiae antigen conservation and its implications for convergent vaccine development" (Sule and Yee, submitted to Vaccine). The archive contains the complete cross-host antigen-conservation analysis: twelve curated vaccine-candidate antigen reference proteins with UniProt provenance; metadata for 526 non-redundant public GBS genomes spanning fish-, human-, and livestock-adapted lineages; the DIAMOND blastx screening pipeline as a standalone script and a re-runnable Colab notebook; and the per-genome presence and identity matrices, the per-host conservation summary, and the run record. Screening used DIAMOND blastx v2.1.11 in very-sensitive mode at e-value 1e-5; an antigen was scored present at 50% or greater reference coverage and 50% or greater amino-acid identity, with CylE as a core-gene positive control. Running the notebook reproduces every value reported in the paper.
