Perceived prevalence of own mobile phone use while driving in the UK 2006-2013

This statistic shows how frequently people in the United Kingdom (UK) used mobile phones in various ways while driving between November 2006 and July 2013. There was a very small difference in the share of respondents who admitted to using phones with and without hands-free while driving in November 2006, however, by July 2013 those admitting to using phone with hands-free had increased by five percentage points whereas those using phones without hands-free had fallen by ten percentage points.
