Real estate investments change worldwide 2020, by sector

As a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, real estate investments worldwide fell by 33 percent. The pandemic had the highest impact on the hospitality sector, with hotels losing 59 percent of real estate investments in the first half of 2020 compared to the first half of 2019. Industrial real estate was least affected with a fall of only four percent of investment volumes.
