Processed raw data as used for the quantitative analysis of the response of the barley root plasma membrane to salinity stress. Three replicates were
analyzed for both each treatment and each genotype. Proteins were either digested with trypsin or elastase. Protein separation was performed by means of reversed phase chromatography on a BEH 130
column (1,7µm, 100 mm x 100 µm) coupled to a trap column for desalting (Symmetry 5µm, 20mm x 180 µm) and using a nanoLC-ESI-QTOF-MS system (Q-TOF Premier, Waters) according to Kaspar et al. (2010).
Data processing and data base searches were performed using PLGS GlobalServer software vs. 2.3. Quantitative protein analysis was later on performed using the LC-MS Progenesis software (Nonlinear
Dynamics).
