Mediterranean Sea Metagenomics. marine metagenome

The project provides sequence data from deep sequencing of samples gathered from Easter and the Western parts of the Mediterranean Sea. There are two kinds of samples: those originating from the deep chlorophyll maximum, a zone of dense microbial activity located at the base of the photic zone, and second, samples from the deep mediterranean (aphotic zone).
