This data set provides high-resolution measurement and optimization data from two field tests conducted on the M5BAT hybrid battery storage system in Aachen, Germany. It includes one-second resolution time series of inverter AC and DC power, SOC of the individual battery units, system SOC, and grid connection point power, as well as the corresponding optimized power delivery schedules. The data covers both a benchmark test and a test with improved model parametrization, enabling direct comparison of schedule fulfillment and efficiency modeling. The data set supports research on battery storage optimization, technical validation of trading schedules, and performance analysis of grid-connected BESS in real-world market conditions.
