Statin Exposure and Risk of Dialysis in Type 2 Diabetes: A Real-World Cohort Study

Replication package (code + supplement) for the study on statins and progression to dialysis in adults with type 2 diabetes (T2DM). This deposit contains all materials needed to reproduce the analyses and figures reported in the manuscript, except for the underlying EHR data. Contents Analysis code (R/Python) for data preparation, cohort construction, cause-specific Cox models with time-varying exposure, and Fine–Gray competing-risks models (new-user design with 30- and 90-day lags). Figure scripts for forest plots and cumulative incidence functions (CIFs). Supplementary materials (PDF/tables). Environment files (requirements.txt/environment.yml) and a README with step-by-step instructions. Data availability No patient-level data are included due to privacy, contractual, and IRB restrictions. The code is parameterized to run on a local, appropriately de-identified dataset with a schema described in the README/codebook. Requests for data access, if any, must be directed to the hosting institution and are subject to applicable approvals.
