How technology and geography influence network dynamics

I shall show how the different marine technologies and the different scales of networks require different model types, and thereby different agency, if we are to explain the archaeological record. Geography and technology, through the distribution and separation of sites and the ability of vessels to traverse these distances, come together in determining the ease with which links arise.
