Sequencing of A. sarmentosa diversity assessment. Alectoria sarmentosa cryptic diversity

The accurate species assessment is essential for biodiversity research. Although small portions of genome - single or a few locus data - have been frequently used in biodiversity research, the large portion of genome is needed for accurate biodiversity assessment. Here we present metagenome sequences of holobiont of macrolichen species Alectoria sarmentosa for a precise species diversity assessment in lichen symbiosis. Further, our data will be helpful for cryptic diversity estimation and speciation studies.
