Experimental work for the assessment of ocean acidification effects on the sea-urchin Arbacia dufresnii

The goal of this work was to assess the effects of Ocean Acidification (OA) on Arbacia dufresnii, a sub-polar sea urchin species, on spine regeneration, coelomic fluid, mineral content and RNA/DNA ratio. Arbacia dufresnii adults were exposed to three seawater pH treatments: 7.4, 7.7 and 8.0 (control). The dataset includes the endpoints assessment (sea urchin response to exposure treatments) such as coelomic fluid parameters, spine regeneration and RNA/DNA ratio in both body wall and gonads. as well as seawater physicochemical parameters (measured and calculated).
