Benthic chamber data

Benthic chamber data from Silver River, Rainbow River, Gum Slough and Alexander Springs Creek, four spring fed rivers in north Florida. Dissolved oxygen measured using Onset HOBO U26, nitrate measured using Satlantic SUNA. Uptake within the chamber, isolated from resupply, produces nitrate depletion allowing us to examine concentration effects on uptake rates (i.e. reaction kinetics) and primary production (i.e. potential nutrient limitation). Note three chambers in Alexander Springs Creek were artificially enriched with nitrate, while five replicate chambers in Rainbow River were dosed with ammonium. Resulting publication currently in review in Freshwater Science.

北佛罗里达州四条泉水河流——银河、彩虹河、树胶沟和亚历山大温泉溪的底栖室数据。通过Onset HOBO U26测量溶解氧，使用Satlantic SUNA测量硝酸盐。在底栖室内进行摄取实验，隔离补充供应，以产生硝酸盐耗竭，从而考察浓度效应对摄取速率（即反应动力学）和初级生产（即潜在养分限制）的影响。值得注意的是，亚历山大温泉溪中的三个底栖室被人为地富集了硝酸盐，而彩虹河中的五个重复底栖室则被施加了铵。相关研究成果目前正在淡水科学杂志的审稿过程中。
