In order to find out the differences of intestinal microflora among different pig species, this study demonstrated that Min pigs, as an excellent breed in the cold area of China, possessed their special intestinal flora structure to satisfy their demands of physiology and metabolism, which might be the reason why they were different from the imported on the cold resistance, disease resistance, crude feeding resistance, possessing and the ability of intramuscular fat deposition.
