AAC Tenacious Wheat TILLING Population

Using gamma irradiation mutagenesis of background FHB-resistant AAC Tenacious wheat, we generated a TILLING population that showed a wide range of variability in FHB-severity and plant height. Several FHB-susceptible and FHB-resistant lines ranging in plant height from dwarf to tall were selected and sequenced using the Illumina NovaSeq platform. This study's goal is to identify variants and genetic diversity associated with key agronomic traits in our AAC Tenacious TILLING population including FHB-susceptibility/FHB-resistance and plant height.
