Single-crystal X-ray diffractometry data for a sample of metformin collected on beamline I19-2 at Diamond Light Source with an Eiger 2X 4M with CdTe sensor

Metformin was purchased from Sigma-Aldrich, and a selected single crystal was used without further recrystallisation. Single-crystal X-ray diffraction data were collected on beamline I19 at Diamond Light Source using a four-circle Newport diffractometer located in Experimental Hutch 2 (EH2), equipped with an Eiger 4M CdTe photon-counting pixel array detector. Data were collected using X‑ray radiation of wavelength 0.4859 Å (Ag K-edge) on 7 April 2025. Temperature control was provided by an Oxford Cryostream 700 series, with measurements performed at 150 K. The dataset comprises a single 350° scan collected with a step size of 0.2° per image.
