These samples are from a series of experimental bioassays in which unfiltered seawater was collected off Point Barrow, AK USA and amended with tundra-derived dissolved organic matter. The goal of the study was to monitor how nutrient utilization, microbial production and community composition changed over time in response to these amendments.
