资源简介:
Quality supervision and the supervisory working alliance have been consistently identified as protective factors against counselor burnout. There has been little research regarding the relationship between administrative supervision and counselor burnout. The sample was comprised of 110 master’s level mental health professionals who completed the Counselor Burnout Inventory (CBI), the Brief Supervisory Working Alliance Trainee Form (BSWAI-T), and the Satisfaction of Administrative Supervision Scale (SASS). Hierarchical regression revealed that supervisees’ perceptions of the supervision working alliance accounted for 18% of the variance in counselor burnout, but supervisees’ satisfaction with administrative supervision did not explain additional variance in predicting counselor burnout.
