Paratinospora sagittata Genome sequencing and assembly

In this study, we assemble a high-quality genome of Tinospora sagittata at the chromosome-scale with high completeness and continuity. We find the phylogenetic position of the Menispermaceae family and Tinospora sagittata and its divergence time from other Ranunculales. The well-assembled and annotated genome is the foundation for evolutionary and molecular biological studies of Ranunculales and reveals the biosynthesis mechanisms of BIA alkaloids in Tinospora sagittata.
