资源简介:
This study investigated the effects of risperidone on gene expression in the coronal forebrain sections of adult male mice carrying the murine equivalent of the human 3q29 deletion - a rare copy number variant associated with a more than 40-fold increased risk of schizophrenia - bred at IF PAN. Sensorimotor gating was assessed twice using acoustic startle response and prepulse inhibition: first in drug-naive animals and again one week later following acute administration of risperidone (1 mg/kg) or saline. Brains were collected two hours post-treatment for spatial transcriptomic analysis. Coronal sections (1.54 to -1.18 mm from bregma) were mounted on Visium slides, stained, and processed to generate cDNA sequencing libraries.
