Tennessee Department of Health Laboratory Services (TN PHL) performs WGS and bioinformatic analyses for Candida auris (C. auris) isolates to identify new introductions, support epidemiological investigations, and identify mutations in hotspot regions of the FKS1 gene. Isolates from across the AR Lab Network Southeast Region are tested and sequenced, and the WGS data is analyzed using CDC-developed pipeline, MycoSNP-nf, by our ARLN lab and Sequencing Core at TN PHL.
