THE IMPORTANCE OF PHYTOPHARMACOLOGICAL APPROACHES IN PREVENTIVE

This article provides an expanded academic analysis of phytopharmacological approaches in preventive medicine, focusing on the role of plant-derived bioactive substances in strengthening and regulating immune responses. Particular attention is paid to the mechanisms of immunomodulation, antioxidant protection, and biological neutralization of pathogens and oxidative stress. Based on international (WHO, EMA) and regional scientific sources, the immunoprotective potential of flavonoids, alkaloids, polyphenols, terpenoids, and saponins is systematized. Tables summarizing bioactive compounds, their mechanisms of action, and preventive applications are presented in accordance with OAK requirements.
