This archive contains all code and data required to reproduce Figures 1–2 in the main text of the manuscript titled “Near-Surface Liquid Water on Mars Inferred from Seasonal Marsquakes”. The archive includes the following subdirectories: File 1 – Code_Figure1a_MarsMapGenerates Figure 1a, including the InSight landing site, the global Mars map, the water-ice consistency distribution, and the locations of craters with confirmed icy ejecta. File 2 – Code_Figure1b_TemperatureVaryCurveGenerates Figure 1b, showing the representative temperature variation curve at mid-latitude regions. File 3 – Code_Figure2_OccurrenceMapGenerates Figure 2, presenting the spatial distribution of seasonal marsquake occurrence. File 4 – Data_TemperatureProvides the simulated temperature dataset used in the thermal modeling. To execute the code successfully, please ensure that all required Python libraries are installed, including (but not limited to) matplotlib, numpy, and obspy, depending on your system configuration.
