Gene expression data of patients presenting with concurrent colorectal adenomas and colorectal tumors, including adjacent tissue to the tumor

Gene expression profiles of 70 patients presenting with concurrent colorectal adenomas and colorectal tumors were obtained using Affymetrix U133+ arrays. Samples were obtained from Avaden Biosciences as FFPE blocks, from which sections were derived of the adenoma, tumor and tissue adjacent to the tumor. Patients were selected from surgery cases for where concurrent adenoma and tumor were present, excluding patients with hereditary cancer syndromes.
