Early Systolic Blood Pressure Control in Non-Surgical Intracerebral Hemorrhage

This dataset contains de-identified clinical, radiological, and hemodynamic data from a retrospective cohort study of 100 adult patients with non-surgical spontaneous intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH). The patients were managed medically at Hospital Nacional Mario Catarino Rivas, a tertiary referral center in San Pedro Sula, Honduras.

The dataset includes patient demographics, comorbidities, baseline severity markers (including the Glasgow Coma Scale and ICH Score), and neuroimaging characteristics (hematoma volume and location). It also captures critical management variables, specifically serial systolic blood pressure (SBP) measurements at admission and at 6 hours post-admission. The primary outcome variable is in-hospital mortality. This data was collected to analyze the prognostic impact of early SBP control (<140 mmHg) and to externally validate established ICH severity scores in a resource-limited Central American setting.
