This dataset is a 2014 map depicting the current state of land desertification across China, with a raster data format. This remote sensing monitoring dataset for China's desertification was compiled by stratifying the country into five regions based on desertification climate types: humid region, semi-humid arid region, semi-arid region, arid region, and extremely arid region. During the compilation process, the land desertification status of the other four regions excluding the humid region was calculated, and no desertification was deemed to occur in the humid region.
