Ribosome biosynthesis is essential for cancer growth and proliferation. This dependency is therapeutically exploitable by blocking the rate-limiting step, RNA polymerase I (Pol I) transcription. Here we investigated the effects of knockdown RNA Pol I component RRN3. expression of mRNA genes. We silenced RRN3 in HCT116 cells by siRNA. RNA sequencing (RNA-seq) was performed using three biological replicates.
