Originally established circa mid-2005 to record/display Suburb boundaries in high/medium/detail level map displays. Essentially a static polygon layer, however location alterations are permitted as required. This dataset is used in hardcopy maps as well as WEB map displays. This layer set was updated late 2010 to reflect the NZ Postal boundaries of the day, where by boundaries were aligned to the back of properties… rather than down the centreline of roads, as had been previously defined. Hutt City councillors of the day all had relevant consultation on these boundary locations.
