Reconstruction of 500-m NDVI Time Series Since 1984

The TASTF NDVI Dataset provides a 500 m resolution normalized difference vegetation index (NDVI) product covering the contiguous United States (CONUS) from 1984 to 2010. The dataset has a semi-monthly temporal resolution and is referenced to the WGS84 coordinate system. The dataset was generated using the Target Self-Attention Spatiotemporal Fusion (TASTF) model, which integrates Landsat and GIMMS NDVI3g data to reconstruct high-resolution NDVI time series. It is designed to supplement medium-resolution NDVI observations prior to the year 2000, providing a consistent and long-term record for vegetation dynamics, ecological monitoring, and carbon cycle studies across the CONUS region.
