资源简介:
People avoid negative self-views and employ a wide range of strategies to boost and protect their self-esteem. The engagement in these is in part guided by two prominent self-motives: self-enhancement and self-protection. The present study aims to identify the impact of decentering and compassion on the choice of self-esteem strategies. Additionally, we aim to explore whether discrepancies in self-esteem regulation can be attributed to differences in meditation experience. Through this, we aim to deepen our understanding of the factors influencing self-esteem dynamics. unknown other
