Persistent migration through narrow spaces confers permanent phenotypical and functional consequences to T-ALL cells, influencing the genetic instability and inducing nuclear heterogeneity. Jurkat cells (T-ALL cell line) were used for RNA extraction and hybridization on Affymetrix microarrays. Migratory-altered (MA) cells (a.k.a. Pseudolines or PL) were generated by inducing three rounds of migration through 3um transwell inserts. The MA cells resulted from this method as well as the Jurkat control cells were kept in culture conditions. Then, cells were lysed and mRNA was extracted to compare expressions profiles. We used two replicates of each condition.
