资源简介:

Toolbox talks — also called safety moments or pre-task briefings — are short, focused safety conversations held at the worksite before a shift or task begins. This dataset provides a library of 50 ready-to-use toolbox talk topics spanning the most common industrial and construction hazard categories: Working at Height, Electrical Safety, Manual Handling, PPE, Fire Safety, Confined Space Entry, Heat & Cold Stress, Driving Safety, Housekeeping, and Behavioural / Safety Culture. Each row contains: the topic name, its hazard category, three to five concise teaching points suitable for a 5–15 minute briefing, a typical duration in minutes, and — where the reference is well-established — a relevant standard or regulation (e.g. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.501 for fall protection). Standards fields are left blank or described qualitatively for topics where specific clause numbers could not be confirmed with certainty, in keeping with the dataset's accuracy-first policy. The teaching points are drawn from widely published HSE guidance including OSHA, HSE (UK), ISO 45001 principles, and standard industry practice. They are intentionally general so that safety officers can adapt them to site-specific conditions, local regulations, and the language of their workforce. This dataset is intended for use by EHS software developers, safety training platform builders, researchers studying safety communication, and safety professionals who need a starter library of talk topics. It is published under CC BY 4.0 and may be freely used, adapted, and redistributed with attribution.
