Paired-end Illumina MiSeq was performed to obtain the full population of partially edited A6 mRNA in procyclic T. brucei brucei cells (29-13 Lister427) with KREH1 addback in a KREH1 KO background, and A6, CO3, CYb, and RPS12 mRNA in cells with RNAi targeting KREH2. Alignment and analysis of sequences is possible using the Trypanosome RNA Editing Alignment Tool (TREAT) available on github.com/ubccr/treat
