ENTSO-E Actual Generation of Wind units: data from 21-12-2014 to 11-04-2021

This file contains data retrieved from the ENTSO-E Transparency Platform from "Actual Generation Output per Generation Unit [16.1.A]" (https://transparency.entsoe.eu/generation/r2/actualGenerationPerGenerationUnit/show)

The CSV data files in the Transparency Platforms (TP) have been merged and only the data for wind (on- and off-shore) units have been selected. The file contains 3,959,597 samples and 7 fields:

DateTime

MapCode (GB, DE, DK, IT or NL): the country code for all the country with wind units in the TP

GenerationUnitEIC: EIC code of the generation unit

PowerSystemResourceName: name of the unit

ProductionTypeName: "Wind Onshore" or "Wind Offshore"

ActualGenerationOutput: generation output in MW for the specific timestep (hourly or subhourly)

InstalledGenCapacity: capacity of the wind farm

If you want to get more information on the units (for example the location), you can use the JRC Power Plant Database (JRC-PPDB, https://data.jrc.ec.europa.eu/dataset/9810feeb-f062-49cd-8e76-8d8cfd488a05).
