Identification of differentielly expressed genes in S. japonicus stress activated MAPK mutants sty1? and atf1? as compared to wild type cells.

We searched for differentially expressed genes in Schizosaccharomyces japonicus sty1? and atf1? mutants up- and down-regulated as compared to wild type cells, and whose products might positively or negatively regulate yeast to hypha dimorphic switch. Two biological replicates were tested for global gene expression in wild type versus sty1? and atf1? strains growing in rich medium at the early exponential growth phase.
