资源简介:
We have demonstrated a novel transcranial focused ultrasound (tFUS) stimulation can non-invasively engage parvalbumin (PV) GABAergic inhibitory circuits in a chronic pain sickle cell disease (SCD) mouse model, revealing a mechanistic basis for ultrasound neuromodulation and supporting its advancement as a precise and non-invasive therapeutic technology. The EEG measurements were conducted in rodents of different experimental conditions. This work was supported in part by NIH NS131069, NS124564, EB029354, HL147562, CA263806, and AT012868.Animal care and handling are according to the regulation of Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee of Carnegie Mellon University and Long Beach VA medical Centre and complied with National Institutes of Health guidelines. Each .mat file is named using the format: [experiment]_[condition]_[session (if applicable)]_[animal group]_[animal number].Epoch onsets were used to extract trials, with each trial lasting approximately 2 seconds. The tFUS stimulation and corresponding negative control recordings (699 trials) were divided into two periods for analysis:Baseline epochs: 99 trials (trials #1-99)tFUS stimulation or negative control epochs: 600 trials (trials #100-699)All other recordings consist entirely of trials corresponding to the condition specified in the file name. Detailed descriptions of the experiments and recordings can be found in the Methods section of the manuscript cited above and in the README document of this dataset.
