Dataset for the project "Tactile mirror system in borderline personality disorder: a multimodal approach to study brain connectivity and plasticity" (SG-2019-12370473)

Aim 1:

Assessment of TaMS alterations in BPD at behavioral and neurophysiological level, focusing on effective connectivity pattern by means of TMS-EEG, and its relationship with empathic abilities (Exp. 1).

Aim 2:

Assessment of plasticity mechanisms within TaMS in BPD by means of a cross-modal PAS protocol and their relationship with empathic abilities (Exp. 2).

The present dataset contains the following files and folders:

Folder: Aim1

-        READ ME AIM1.txt explains folder structure and file content details.

-        File: SG2019_Aim1_Demographics.xlsx contains demographic data. 

-        File SG2019_Aim1_Empathy.xlsx contains data on the empathic levels obtained by self-report questionnaires.

-        File: SG2019_Aim1_rMT.xlsx contains the rMT measured to set TMS intensity.

-        File SG2019_Aim1_VTSC.xlsx contains data on behavioral performance (RTs and number of errors).

-        Subfolder:  TMS-Evoked Potentials. Data are organized in 6 files per group according to trial type (.mat format).

-        Subfolder:  Event-Related Potentials. Data are organized in 3 files per group according to trial type (.mat format).

-        Subfolder:  Time-frequency Pattern. Data are organized in 3 files per group according to trial type (.mat format).
