Emergency Incident Dataset Subset and Experimental Benchmark Results for Distributed Event Mapping Systems

This repository contains a cleaned subset of emergency incident records and the numerical experimental results used in the evaluation of distributed event processing and geospatial incident mapping systems. The dataset is derived from the publicly available London Fire Brigade Incident Records published by the London Datastore. A subset of the dataset was cleaned and preprocessed for experimental use. The cleaning process included removing incomplete records, correcting timestamp formatting, filtering incidents with valid geographic coordinates, and eliminating duplicate entries based on timestamp, location, and category attributes. The resulting dataset contains 8,897 incident records and was used to simulate emergency event streams in a prototype evaluation environment. The repository also includes the numerical values used to generate the experimental figures reported in the associated study, including throughput measurements, latency components, storage overhead comparisons, and system utilization metrics.
