Short-term metabolic effects of obesity surgery vs. low-calorie diet in non-diabetic obese individuals

This dataset contains the results of a parallel group randomized controlled trial comparing the effects of obesity surgery (Roux-en-Y gastric bypass or sleeve gastrectomy) to a low-calorie diet on body composition, glucose control, and insulin sensitivity in individuals with obesity but without diabetes. The dataset contains sensitive personal information that has been pseudonymized but not fully anonymized according to current guidelines.
