The shuttle expression vector pVWEx1 as described by Peters-Wendisch et al (J Mol Microbiol Biotechnol. 2001 Apr;3(2):295-300) is widely used in the field of genetic engineering of Corynebacterium glutamicum. Therefore, it is important to have a precise sequence analysis of the vector. This study reveals the nucleotide sequence of the plasmid pVWEx1 by Illumina sequencing.
