DNA from the Calanoid Copepod Pseudodiaptomus annandalei was extracted from animals in long term culture. Animals in all life stages was used for experiments. Using the Truseq PCRfree kit from illumina, a sequencing library was constructed and sequenced on the NextSeq platform 2x150 nt. This procedure is similar to the one our lab have previously used to produce genomes from several other copepod species.
