Grantha dataset

Grantha script is the script used in southern part of Ancient India to write Sanskrit Language.Sanskrit was considered as the royal language in India.Most of the literature work,ancient valuable documents,documents of ancient science,mathematics ,cultural works were written in Sanskrit Language.This data set consists of some the grantha characters segmented from palmleaves. There are a lot of palm leaves in archaeological museums in Kerala consisting of grantha characters.These palm leaves are in a state of decay,therefore the images of the grantha characters are almost degraded.
