Growth without redistribution: participation and concentration in neurodegenerative disease research from African institutions, 2006-2025 (data and code, v2.0.0)

Derived PubMed record table, affiliation exclusion log, analysis scripts and figures accompanying Growth without redistribution (manuscript v2, 25 October 2026). Retrieval 4 October 2026: 2,965 records, 1,836 with an assigned African affiliation, 1,635 dated 2006-2025, and 1,623 after removing 12 affiliation artefacts (a Milan street address, an institutional eponym and a Portuguese acronym). Concentration is measured against a fixed 54-country frame including structural zeros: Gini 0.922 (95% CI 0.917-0.929), HHI 3,322, top-5 share 89.5% in 2006-2015 versus 91.7% in 2016-2025 (difference not significant). Reproducibility caveat: raw PubMed XML was not retained, so this deposit reproduces the analysis from the derived table but not the retrieval snapshot; the same query returned 2,995 records on 25 October 2026.
