Laodelphax striatella Transcriptome or Gene expression

These years the L.striatellus had risen to be main injurious insect of rice in Asia. Few L.striatellus gene sequences are known, which makes in-depth study of gene function difficult. Herein, we sequenced the midgut transcriptome of the small brown rice planthopper to find specific expression genes in the specific tissue. It may provide important basis to prevention and cure.
