In this trial infants born between 33-35 weeks of gestation randomly received palivizumab or placebo during their first RSV season. Children were followed until 6 years of life. We used 16S-rRNA sequencing to characterize the nasopharyngeal microbiota of 395 children at six-year follow-up.
