Expected post-COVID-19 changes in spending on groceries in the U.S. in 2021

During a survey carried out in February 2021, among adults in the United States, it was found that approximately 18 percent of respondents stated that they will increase their spending on groceries, once the COVID-19 crisis subsides. By contrast, approximately seven percent of respondents stated that they will decrease what they spend on groceries.
