The study aims to enhance the genomic surveillance of Influenza in Mexico by employing advanced sequencing technologies to identify and characterize circulating subtypes of Influenza A and B. This effort is crucial for understanding viral evolution, monitoring the emergence of new variants, and informing public health interventions in the country, ultimately contributing to global influenza preparedness.
