The RS5M dataset consists of 5 million remote sensing images paired with English descriptions. It was constructed by filtering publicly available image-text paired datasets and labeled remote sensing (RS) datasets using a pre-trained VLM. This constitutes the first large-scale RS image-text paired dataset.
