Data and code for "Emergence of nonlinear friction from quantum fluctuations"

This folder contains all the code necessary to produce the figures of the paper entitled "Emergence of nonlinear friction from quantum fluctuations". <strong>Content: </strong> The <em>data.dat </em>file is a human readable file containing the data underlying all results in our work. The metadata (parameter ranges, meaning of the different data columns, ...) is stored in <em>metadata.txt.</em> <em>cluster_fit.ibynb </em>contains the data processing and fitting routines that we ran on a computer cluster using Python 2.7, which generates the processed data, and the system parameters located in the directories <em>data_processed </em>and <em>cluster_simulation_results</em> respectively. The processed data and system parameters are used in the <em>figures.ipynb </em>notebook to generate all the figures of the main article text and supplementary information.
