GESIS Online Panel Pilot: Multitopic with focus on personality (survey 8)

Personality. General knowledge.

This study number comprises the data collected during the so called
main studies. The main studies represent three surveys which have
partially been used for methodic experiments. The questions are
identical in every survey except for the described differences.

Topics: role models for family and occupation; division of housework;
attitude towards several areas of democracy: welfare state, protection
of minorities, equal treatment, participation in political decisions,
political participation, civil disobedience, reasons for civil
disobediance); attitude towards immigrants (scale and split with
respectively without ´I can´t say´ ); self charakterization (scale);
value orientation (scale); life satisfaction; self-assessment of own
risk taking; self-assessment of own optimism and pessimism;
self-determination oder heteronomy of life; trust in people; knowledge
test using selected terms and foreign words; employed auxiliary means;
fear of negative evaluation (scale).

Demography: self-reported diligence in answering the questionnaire
(not asked in main study 1); evaluation of the survey (interesting,
rich in variety, important for sciences, long, difficult, too
personal); interruption of the survey; Liking of the survey in total;
personal remarks about the survey; willingness to participate in
further online surveys.

Additionally encoded: amount of the respondent´s incentive.
